Apply ice water and keep cloths wet and cold. For shock, Cayenne may be taken. Vitamin E can be applied directly on the burn. Aloe Vera is very good for burns. It may be used internally and externally. Some Aloe Vera preparations contain lanolin which will intensify burns. Use a preparation without lanolin. Aloe Vera is especially good for acid burns.
